My very first post! Here's work so far on the Blue 'Pillar.. Cory did the middle edit, turning the image and fixing my perspective. This guy sure is a grumbly grub. I feel he's coming along.. But now, sleep!
Great job little bean. I would still turn his head so that the center line is on the left, with his whole head looking towards the lower-left corner off the picture. I would experiment with positioning his feet in different directions like towards the viewer to get more of a sense of him writhing a bit also, and lastly, try turning his tail end towards us to get a bit more space and foreshortening happening, right now his lower body is edging towards being in profile.
